Door Verbunt (1969) has worked at the foundation since 2008. She was first Communication Advisor and Project Manager on a freelance basis, focusing mostly on social projects. She has also organised Literacy Week 2009.
Since July 2009, Door has worked as member of the Management Team. Her position includes management of the foundation’s external accounts and human resources affairs.
Until 2001, Door was working as Communication Advisor at Rabobank. She then worked as Head of Fundraising and Account Manager at Ronald McDonald’s Children Funds. She studied Corporate Communication at the Catholic University of Nijmegen (Radboud University). Beforehand, she studied Spanish for a few years.
